DockATot: All Your Questions Answered

Hey you guys! So if you keep up with us on social media, a product you see ALL THE TIME is our DockATot! Christian has loved her DockAToT Deluxe since the day we brought her home from the hospital. And since people see it all the time in posts and stories on social media, I get a ton of questions about it! It seemed easiest to do a blog post answering the questions we get the most. So whether you’re an expectant mom or a parent just trying to figure out how to keep your baby happy (and sleeping), keep reading! Here are the two DockATots we currently own:

Is it worth the price?

I remembering making my baby registry when I was pregnant and going back and fourth on the DockATot. As a first time mom, I just wasn’t sure if it would be used often or if I should just find a cheaper version. I couldn’t ignore that it seemed to be on every mom’s “must have” list, so I decided to give it a go.

In my opinion, you just can’t put a price on a baby that sleeps 12 hours through the night. Or a baby that willingly takes naps. Or having a safe place to put your baby when you need to set her down! So is it worth the price? Absolutely!

What do you use it for?

Again, as a first time mom, I wasn’t even sure what the heck I would use the DockATot for. However, once Christian was born, all of the wonderful uses of the DockATot started revealing themselves!

Playtime outside!
  1. We used it for cosleeping. I know every family does it their own way, but cosleeping with Christian in the DockATot was the perfect fit for our family. Christian has always been such a good sleeper, and we credit so much of that to our DockATot! Plus, when it was time to transfer Christian into her crib, it made the transition so much easier!
  2. We use it when we travel. Bringing something like a pack and play is a lot of work and we never wanted to carry that bulky thing around. But the DockATot is the perfect travel buddy. Whether we are at family’s house or a hotel, Christian always has the same familiar DockATot to sleep and nap in.
  3. We use it as a safe place to put Christian. Christian sleeps and plays in the dockatot. It’s great for bringing outside on a pretty day! Now that DockATot has sent us the beautiful DockATot Grand, we still use it for most of the same purposes. Bonus: the Grand will be a perfect way to help transition Christian from her crib into a toddler bed! We received our Grand compliments of DockATot!

Why are there two different sizes?

The Deluxe is for 0-8 months and the Grand is for 9-36 months. Both are all-natural, 100% cotton, and tested for breathability. By having two sizes, your baby can always feel comfortable a “snuggled” by the DockATot! As Christian started nearing that 9 month mark, my husband and I knew we needed to get the Grand! We loved the DockATot life and can’t imagine parent life without it!
